What to expect at your first appointment

  • Intake assessment

The intake session typically lasts 50–90 minutes. Your clinician will conduct a clinical interview, gather medical and psychiatric history, assess risk and safety, and jointly create a treatment plan. Bring a list of current medications and any relevant medical documentation if available.

  • Confidentiality and consent

We will review confidentiality limits and privacy practices at your first visit. We require informed consent for treatment and for any care coordination with medical providers.

  • Insurance and payment

During intake, we can verify insurance coverage to estimate co-pays and out-of-pocket costs. We accept several insurance plans and offer self-pay options. If you have questions about billing or need assistance with payment plans, please ask our intake team.
